And this is where I am still searching for my balance. Not just physically, but mentally too. I know that I already do a lot for my health, but I have the feeling that there is still one crucial building block that I need to find in order to really feel holistically healthy.

This journey to my inner and outer balance is not yet complete, but I am confident that I will find the path that suits me. Until then, I’ll keep trying out what could bring me closer to this goal.

Hi, I’m Cathi – family manager and, more recently, blog owner.

Here is my story in a nutshell: I have been eating a gluten-free diet for years and avoid sugar as much as possible. I would describe myself as very health-conscious.

I cook or bake almost all my meals myself because I want to know exactly what is in my food. I believe that a healthy diet is the basis for a good life, but I still feel that I’m missing something to really be in harmony with my body and mind.

Why

My daily meditation is also an integral part of my everyday life. It helps me to center myself and find peace in the hectic phases of life. I also use my crystal mat for relaxation and regeneration – it’s my retreat to recharge my batteries. I have also recently started studying TCM (traditional Chinese medicine)

The combination of all these things should actually make me feel good all round, but somehow I still often don’t feel as fit as I would like.

Perhaps it also has to do with the fact that I am highly sensitive. I perceive things more intensely and sometimes I feel drained more quickly as a result. This sensitivity is both a curse and a blessing – on the one hand I feel more, on the other hand it sometimes overwhelms me.
